The Vitalograph-BreathCO Monitor is a pocket-sized instrument which can be used to measure both alveolar concentrations and environmental levels of Carbon Monoxide. The display indicates parts per million (ppm) of carbon monoxide. This simple, non-invasive, single Breath Test has been proven to accurately assess the levels of Carboxyhemoglobin (COHb). Measuring the extent of CO poisoning is important in the treatment of Smoke and Pollutant Inhalation. It is also considered to be the single most effective motivational tool in Smoking Intervention.
